If you've spent any time with me here in Boston, you know my favorite places. Dim Sum at Empire Garden, strolls through Boston Common, the central courtyard of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, kickin' it along the Freedom Trail. Saying hello to the sea lions in front of the New England Aquarium. Getting gelatto along the Rose Kennedy Greenway and then Italian food in the North End (always dessert first!). 

Because of my involvement with the Boston Preservation Alliance over the past few years, I have learned about even more amazing places around the city in places I wouldn't normally have visited. The Bear Pits in Franklin Park. The "Parting Ways" Stone in Roxbury (and all the 1767 Milestones). Jamaica Plain's historic breweries like the Alley-Eblana Brewery. Amrheins, the oldest bar and restaurant in South Boston. There are so many places that pepper this city with its one-of-a-kind flavor of historic character, and many of them are places you wouldn't normally vist as a tourist in this city. Some of them, like Amrheins and the Alley-Eblana, are at risk of being demolished, and the BPA works tirelessly to advocate for their preservation. 

I am proud to be a part of this great organization, and would love for you to support them so they can continue doing what they do best.
