Last year I was both amazed and motivated by the generosity of my network. Y'all give me energy to continue to photograph, paint, document, and research Boston's curious corners. 

Last year I made a series of books with fellow artists. This year I'm doing something a little different. 

The Scoop:

I'll be turning my Boston Illustrations into something I'm calling Boston's Cards of Curiosities. What is it? A series of beautiful Boston area building illustrations complete with information about the buildings featured. They're beautiful and informative, functional works of art.  And they could be yours! I hope to have around 10 or so completed the middle of June, maybe more with the help of some artist friends who wish to pitch in. (I'll update this page once I know who they are!) 

But first...I need to make all the illustrations! I'll raffle off an illustration every(ish) week in May, and planning on being behind because of the person I am, maybe a couple in June too.... Your gift to the Alliance is your ticket to win. You can track my progress here (and view some illustrations I've already completed). 

This is how this will work:

Each gift of $10 or more will get you one entry into the raffle for the entirety of this campaign. (No need to give multiple times to win)
Meaning a gift of:

$10 = 1 entry
$20 = 2 entries
$30 = 3 entries
$50 = 5 entires
you get the picture!

The earlier you make your gift, the less competition you will have to win! (Because there will be fewer people in the running).
Raffle Drawing Dates:
1st - May 9
2nd - May 23
3- May 30
4 - June 6

Your support helps the Boston Preservation Alliance continue to advocate for the city we all love. Buildings are more than bricks and mortar. They are vessels of memory that punch through time. They bring the past to the future while also being acts of resilience and defiance. What we choose to preserve matters as it is a reflection of what we value as a culture and as a people. 

Racist practices have ripped our cities apart and erased the histories of the most vulnerable citizens. The Alliance works to ensure all Bostonians see themselves in the history represented in the buildings and stories we choose to preserve. The illustrations on this page are just a sample of the stories I will tell. Think of these cards and illustrations as my love notes to the city.
