Dear Family, Friends, and Colleagues,
I would like to share with you one of my passions; historic preservation! (Despite being a modernist)
I was introduced the Boston Preservation Alliance by my dear friend and mentor Richard Bertman. Richard has been a steward deeply devoted to the historic preservation of Boston since the 1960’s.
I have been an active board member with the Boston Preservation Alliance, and continue to marvel at the deep dedication by BPA on behalf of Boston’s built environment.
We continue to actively advocate for our amazing historic resources…and bring awareness to the challenges of our ever-evolving city. Our annual awards program celebrates the best of historic preservation; recognizing designers, developers, administrators, and their dedication to preserve our beloved city.
More recently, I am extremely proud to share the BPA and board of trustees have taken bold steps and deliberate actions to renounce systemic racism and bias that plagues our society. The BPA is actively participating in Diversity, Inclusion and Equity education, training, community outreach, and policy making.
The Boston Preservation Alliance continues to tirelessly advocate for our historic resources and to make a difference. All these wonderful initiatives are supported by generous donations by families, friends, colleagues, and corporate sponsors.
This is my fourth year of p2p fund raising! My goal is to help raise $6500 for the Boston Preservation Alliance…your support at any level is great appreciated!
For 45 years the Boston Preservation Alliance has served the residents of Boston as a nonprofit organization that protects and improves the quality of Boston's architectural and cultural heritage. Through advocacy and education, we bring people and organizations together to influence the future of Boston's historic buildings, landscapes, and communities.
Without our members, donors, and community partners, our voice would fall silent–a growing membership makes our voice stronger because together we make Boston better.
Check out the projects we're currently engaged in and thank you for your continued consideration and support.
