As a passionate advocate for the preservation of historic buildings and neighborhoods, I am thrilled to be a Young Advisor of the Boston Preservation Alliance. For me, preservation is not just about maintaining our city's beautiful and unique architecture, but also about creating a sense of community and preserving the memories and stories of those who came before us.

Preservation is important to both historic and modern architecture for several reasons. Preserving historic buildings and neighborhoods allows us to maintain a tangible connection to our past and the people and events that shaped our cities and communities. By protecting and maintaining historic buildings, we can ensure that future generations can experience the same architectural beauty and historical significance that we do today.

For 45 years the Boston Preservation Alliance has served the residents of Boston as a nonprofit organization that protects and improves the quality of Boston's architectural and cultural heritage. Through advocacy and education, we bring people and organizations together to influence the future of Boston's historic buildings, landscapes, and communities.
