Join the Boston Preservation Alliance for a special tour of Old North Church, focusing on the art objects and architectural details of an iconic 290 year old Georgian building. Sit in the same wooden box pews owned by colonial congregants, learn about the church's stolen angels, and walk along the second floor balcony where the oldest American-made organ still holds court today. Afterwards, taste the sweeter side of the Revolution! Touch, taste, smell, and experience 18th-century chocolate as it was enjoyed by some of Boston’s most famous Revolutionary-era patriots. Old North's interpreters will discuss the way colonial Americans prepared and consumed chocolate. And after you have learned all there is to know about where chocolate comes from and how it's made, you get a free taste of the delicious drink enjoyed by John and Abigail Adams.
